Our process: A Clear, Guided Approach to Kitchen & Bath Remodeling. Designing and remodeling a kitchen or bathroom is a big investment — and without a clear plan it can become overwhelming. At 3W design, we guide you through every step of the process – from defining your goals to managing construction. A well-planned project leads to a better result. Our approach helps to avoid budget overruns, reduce stress and uncertainty, stay on schedule, and make informed decisions.
Step 1: In-Home Consultation. This is where we define your goals. What’s working in your space? How do you want the space to function day-to-day? What look are you drawn to? What investment are you looking to make? This step ensures your new space reflects how you actually live — not just how it looks.
Step 2: Design & Develop. This is where ideas start to become a plan. In a series of meetings, we guide you through Layout and Space Planning and Material and Finish Selections for cabinetry, countertops, flooring, backsplash, paint colors, etc. A thoughtful design phase helps avoid costly changes and delays once construction begins.
Step 3: Project Pricing & Plan. Once selections are complete, we prepare a final set of plans and conduct a sub-contractor walk-thru. We then build a detailed Proposal with accurate costs and a Timeline.
Step 4: Build & Manage. Once construction begins, we coordinate the process so everything runs smoothly. We work with trusted trades and vendors, manage schedules and communication, and keep the project moving forward. A typical timeline for most kitchen or bath renovations is 6 to 8 weeks. However, cabinetry and some plumbing materials have an 8 week lead time and need to be ordered in advance of the start date.

Lea Kelsey
Inspired by design from a young age, Lea spent some 20 years designing advertising & marketing campaigns for name brand consumer products. Following the opportunity to remodel and redesign several homes, she opted to focus her design energy on spaces rather than campaigns. One project led to another, a degree from NYIAD, and a new career designing and curating inspiring and welcoming spaces.
Although beautiful is always fantastic, it’s the combination of function and beauty that makes a space really special, and what gets Lea most enthused about a project. Lea is a member of the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce and the Concord Garden Club, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for The Concord Family YMCA.

Amy Malone
Amy is returning to her interior design career after taking time to focus on being a mom. During that time away, she studied and worked in the field of Elementary Education. She continued to keep her feet in design by renovating her own home and providing services to family and friends.
Amy became interested in design at a very young age. Keenly aware of her surroundings, she was mindfully recording those images and creating spaces with her Crayola drafting kit. Her parents recognized Amy’s gift and made many of those ideas come to fruition in her childhood home.
Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design and has thirteen years of experience working on a diverse range of projects throughout New England. Her goal is to work with clients to create spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also highly functional.
In her free time Amy enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and watching her daughter on stage doing what she loves most. She serves as a board member for RB Productions, a local youth theatre organization.
